I promise that I'll upload more serious work soon >.<" I've had a bit of an art block, only doodles, sketches, and minor drawings have been turning out decent lately. :/ I couldn't get a good photo -as usual- of course, everybody has to have a cliche emo-looking character in a tall langly style xD lol forgive my failure of originality in this one, I was just testing out the style using a character that happens to be dark looking.

Anyways, this is Jakk :3 I have several drawings of him in my current sketchbook, but his concept is actually quite old. This started off as just a quick sketch that I made during English Class, but it developed into more after my Design Technology teacher lent me one of his cherished indian ink technical drawing pens. That pen.. Was magical.. ;3; it's tip size was almost invisible xD so yeah, this entire drawing is actually a TON of tiny cross hatched lines (which took forever btw). I added the splashes in the background to compliment my colour choices o3o

That Anubis-like jackal mask Jakk's holding is a key part of his character, it's ALWAYS with him. Either he's wearing it, or it's strung around his neck and hanging down his back. Jakk has a demon form too, and a reference sheet in an anime style that I'll post as scraps later or whenever I get around to it xD

Done using a fancy indian ink technical drawing pen, a red sharpie, and watercolours on sketchbook paper.

I really love it, as always. your pen and ink style is also a real joy to look at, it also has a lot of detail.
I must really say your anatomy was near perfection. the upperlegs are maybe a bit to long. and the hands are maybe a bit to big, and the pointing finger is maybe a bit too long, so near perfect hand anatomy. (I actually can't make better hands)
I also like how you blended the black and yellow collors from the mask.

I meant with near perfection in Ratio.

Thanks, though I wasn't aiming for perfect anatomy with this, I was looking into stylistic effects. Long, langly limbs, messy hair, sorta sketchy looking with the ink, a darker more Emo/goth style xD so the legs are meant to be the way they are, but I just suck at hands xD really badly :L

your hands are'nt bad at all, the way I draw hands is much worse (well anthro hands sorta hands XD) your hands are very good eccept for some small details, which are'nt really noticeble.

Yeah, I did a meme on him not long ago x3. His story has develped loads x3. I made him a human form when I first created the Chigaru ^o^.
